Hello again!  We’re back and ready to tackle a few of the most common questions employees have before working with an employment agency.  We know it can be a little tricky and we’d like to make it as simple as possible!  If you have questions, chances are, you’re not the only one!  We’ve compiled a list of the 10 most frequently asked questions people have about working for Y.E.S.

Why register with an employment agency?

Your Employment Solutions offers you the ability to get your foot in the door with a lot of different companies all over the valley and essentially does a lot of the job searching FOR you!  Interviewing and working through an employment agency allows you to enhance your skills and gain experience in the field of your choice.

Is there a fee for an employee working with Y.E.S.?

Not at all!  Registering and working for Your Employment Solutions is absolutely always free for the employee.

How does an employee get paid?

Clients determine the pay date for their specific employees, however they typically are paid either weekly or bi-weekly.  As Y.E.S. takes care of all temp employee payroll, we offer a few different choices, including direct deposit or pay card options.

I have background issues.  Can I still work for Y.E.S.?

Most client companies have their own background policies, though we do try and work with you as much as possible.  To discuss specific background issues, call our office at 801-298-9377 and we would be happy to determine your eligibility!

How do I apply?

We accept applications in our offices Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM and do not require an appointment.  When you come in, we will have you fill out a standard application and then you will meet with a recruiter for an interview where we will discuss your work history and what you are currently looking for.  In addition, you may be required to complete specific skills tests based upon the field you are looking to work in.

What should I bring when I apply?

It is best to bring in two forms of identification such as a current driver’s license and a social security card or birth certificate.  A passport is also acceptable in lieu of the two separate IDs.  If you come in to apply and do not have those on you, we will still do a full interview but will require the IDs before sending you to a job.

Have other concerns not covered here?  Give us a call at 801-298-9377!  We are absolutely more than happy to help.

Thank you!
