Top 5 Jobs in Utah – No College Degree Required

What are the best jobs in Utah for workers without a Bachelor’s degree?

A little while back, Tyler, one of our awesome recruiters here at Your Employment Solutions wrote a blog post on the value an education can have on your career. It is true that those with more education, on average, make more income than those without.

That said, a college education simply isn’t an option for every one. Some can’t afford it and choose not to go into debt, others go numb at the idea of sitting in a boring classroom all day, and some choose to self-educate.  We’re all different, and diversity of life’s path is a beautiful thing.

So what are the best career choices for those who choose to forego college?

Fox 13 recently got together with the Utah Department of Workforce Services and did a piece on the the top 5 jobs in Utah for those without a bachelor’s degree.

Their top Utah jobs list is based on each job’s wages, stability and potential for growth.

Without further ado, here is what they reported as the best jobs in Utah:

The big thing I notice on this list is that while none of these jobs require a formal education, they all demand highly specific skills and/or experience. So even without a college degree, you’re going to need to put in the effort to learn the skill set required in order to be worthy of the wage.

In other words, you gotta do the work!

Or as Tyler said, if you want to earn more, learn more!
