Most Recent Employment Numbers in Utah | June 2019

The Utah Department of Work Force Services releases data on current jobs and unemployment for the state on a monthly basis. Below is the latest employment data for the month of June 2019.

The state of Utah dropped to a 2.8% unemployment rate ranking below the national average which dropped slightly to 3.7%.

Utah also reported 3% job growth (compared to June of 2018) rate against the 1.5% national growth rate.

“The Utah economy remains strong and continues to absorb and employ labor at a fast pace,” says Mark Knold, Senior Economist at the Department of Workforce Services.
