Utah’s Best Staffing, Recruiting and Employment Professionals Work at YES!
This month’s Employee Spotlight is a valued member of YES’s frontline scheduling team – Jaxon Ballantyne!
Thank You Jaxon Ballantyne | YES August 2022 Spotlight
Jaxon is a lead scheduler with YES and works hard day in and day out to help get applicants set up for job interviews at all of our staffing locations. He’s grown a lot during the time he’s been here and strives to deliver the award-winning customer service YES is known for. Jaxon is as friendly an individual you will ever meet, and has been a great, reliable, dedicated member of the Your Employment Solutions staffing team!
We asked Jaxon to answer 11 questions about work and life. Here’s what he had to say:
1. Five things you enjoy.
- Golfing
- Gaming
- Hanging out with my friends/brother
- Sand dunes
- Cruises!
2. Three things you don’t.
- Horror games/movies
- Speaking in front of a lot of people
- Spiders
3. What do you like most about working at YES?
The people are amazing and very friendly and helpful!
4. What do you think would make YES better?
If the messages in sense aren’t for you to mark them as Unread so we don’t miss anyone
5. If you could meet anyone, who?
Tiger Woods, without a doubt.
6. Your favorite place in the world.
St. Anthony Sand Dunes in Idaho.
7. Rumor has it you’ve been golfing since before you could walk. You must have heard your fair share of golf jokes in that time. What is your favorite golf joke?
This is more like a quote, but I love it. “It takes a lot of balls to golf the way I do.”
8. What is the number one challenge you face in your job?
Making phone calls is my hardest challenge.
9. What do you think is the best way to meet that challenge?
Just to keep doing it and one day I’ll be a pro.
10. What would you tell someone looking into working with YES?
This is a great company who cares about their employees and has been very flexible with hours!
11. Again, we know you love to golf. If you were to take CEO Reed laws and President Kerry Westenskow to your favorite course, what course would it be and why? Who do you think would play the best?
Torrey Pines Golf Course in California because I played there when I was 8 years old in the Callaway Jr. World Championship. But I think if they can keep up with my long drives, they might have a slight chance to win.
Thank you again for everything you do for Jaxon! We are grateful to have you on the YES team!
