Lupe has been with Your Employment Solutions for a little over a year in our Ogden office, and since then she has brought such awesome personality to her position and her team. Starting as a receptionist, she grew to learn our clients, our processes and our business before becoming an account manager. Lupe always strives to learn more and help wherever she can, she’s an awesome part of YES and we couldn’t be more grateful for her.
We asked Lupe to answer 11 questions about work and life. Here’s what she had to say:
1. Five things you enjoy.
- Spending time with family

- Cliffs

3. What do you like most about working at YES?
I like that YES has made me grow out of my comfort zone and my team is always there to help me out. Everyone is super friendly and they make work fun.
4. What do you think would make YES better?
More PTO options! I’d say other than that, not much.
5. If you could meet anyone, who?
If I could meet anyone it would be The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) I’ve been wanting to see him for years but there’s always been situations that come where I can’t unfortunately. He has been my favorite singer for many years you could probs say I’m kind of obsessed, lol. I really would love to be face-to-face with him someday.
6. Your favorite place in the world.
My favorite place in the world would be Santa Cruz, California. I have many memories there. I love the beach and attractions. It makes me happy to have both of them together. It’s nice to get to see the sunset and ocean while riding a roller coater or any ride in general.
7. We know you love cars and car shows. Of all car shows that you’ve been to what car was your favorite and why?
Out of all the cars it will have to be a S14 Silvia. Its an old classic Japanese stance car. I love how you can rebuild it many ways and it will still look super clean and nice.
8. What is the number one challenge you face in your job?
I’d say working on reviews on referrals, but I try my best to push myself to reach my goal and receive them.
9. What do you think is the best way to meet that challenge?
You got to challenge yourself into finding your own way that works and succeeding with it to better yourself.
10. What would you tell someone looking into working with YES?
I would let them know the people at YES are awesome and this is a great company to be with and to grow with as well. Even when you have no experience, you can start from nothing and can go so far out from that.
11. Rumor has it you love the artist, The Weeknd. If you were to take YES CEO Reed Laws and YES President Kerry Westenskow to a concert of his, what song do you think they would jam out to the most and why? What song is your favorite and why?
I’d say they would like the most recent one like Blinding Lights. It gives pip vibes. I can see them jam out to that for sure. My favorite song from The Weeknd would be The Town from one of his first albums. I love the rhythm and the lyrics speak facts.
